Lionel Messi won’t be playing for a while: Inter Miami, which won’t be in the playoffs, might loan him out.
According to the newspaper Sport, Saudi Arabia is also closely monitoring the situation of the Argentine World Cup champion Lionel Messi, without providing further details about their involvement. Messi could indeed be loaned for six months, especially considering he is an ambassador for Saudi Arabia.
Sport reports that Barcelona is, however, categorical about the impossibility of Messi’s return, mainly due to financial fair play constraints in La Liga. These reports seem to put an end to speculations about Messi’s potential return to FC Barcelona, especially since Messi’s inner circle hasn’t considered this possibility.
