Kylian Mbappé is celebrating the success of his club, SM Caen, after their victory against Ajaccio in Ligue 2. On July 31, Mbappé officially acquired Stade Malherbe de Caen through his company Interconnected Ventures for an estimated sum of €15 to €20 million.
The club, which narrowly missed out on promotion to Ligue 1 last season, hopes that Mbappé’s involvement, as captain of the French national team, will help them return to the top flight. Currently sitting 15th in the standings with just one point from three matches, Caen secured their first victory of the season with a 1-0 win over Ajaccio.
Mbappé closely followed the match and shared a story featuring a celebratory photo from the dressing room, adding flame emojis to honor the win.
