The journalistic community is in mourning this Wednesday morning following the news relayed by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, announcing the premature death of Alessandra Bianchi at the age of 59.

She was a former sports journalist and columnist for L’Equipe, RMC, Le Parisien, and Canal+, and was seen in France as an ambassador for Italian football.

Alessandra Bianchi had been working for four years in the communication department of Lega Pro, the organizer of the three Serie C championships in Italy. Lega Pro paid tribute to her following her death.

« Alessandra Bianchi has left us. Colleague, highly valued journalist, extraordinary person, she worked for four years in the communication field of Lega Pro. You have always been a colleague available to help and have always put your skills at our disposal. In each of us, there are many memories that will never be erased: those related to work and those of your many passions: journalism, Rome, books, Paris, Modigliani. You have always stood out for fulfilling your commitments with seriousness and availability. »
