The Spanish Football Federation has launched an investigation, and the Catalan club immediately responded on the X social network (formerly Twitter).
« FC Barcelona will always defend the values of football and sports, including respect for opponents, and will therefore investigate the racist insults that may have been uttered this afternoon during the match against Real Madrid, » as stated in an official statement.
