Specifically, his contract includes a particular clause stating that if he were to leave his position, he would be obligated to reimburse several months’ worth of salary to Frank McCourt, the club’s owner. More precisely, he would have to repay all the salaries received since taking office in March 2021. This clause could influence his decision.
