With the Paris Olympics scheduled from July 24th to August 9th and the Euro from June 14th to July 14th, France is expected to be involved in both competitions until the end. And Kylian Mbappé wants to compete in the Olympics with the French national team.
This poses a significant problem for Real Madrid, according to AS. The Spanish club has, of course, planned a lucrative summer tour in the United States. The club’s executives need Mbappé to participate in this tour to boost revenue.
Over the past two years, Real Madrid has earned around 15 million euros for four matches during these tours. With Mbappé on board, the sum could significantly increase.

However, the window of opportunity will be limited. Mbappé is expected to be presented in July between the Olympics and the end of the tour. Then, there are the Olympics. It’s a tight schedule, with an increased risk of injury. Therefore, Real Madrid might indeed refuse to let Mbappé participate in the Olympics. They have the right to do so because it’s not a FIFA date.
