It was a tough evening for Cristiano Ronaldo. During the semi-final of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup against Al-Hilal, he delivered a violent blow to an opponent. He was rightfully sent off, but then proceeded to threaten the referee by mimicking a punching motion.
Cristiano Ronaldo then left the field, ironically urging the crowd to applaud the official for showing him the red card. He deemed the red card too harsh, accusing the opposing player of diving.
